Recycling
The average new passenger car tyre produce 26.5 litres, Remoulds uses 9.5 litres.
Tully Tyres have been for many years fully committed to the recycling of tyres that are beyond any state of repair. The tyre is processed through our recycling department and the type of recycling is based on the condition of the tyres.
Most of the tyres have to be recycled because they cannot be re-treaded. When the tyre is recycled it is shredded via different processes until it reaches a state of “crumb” the product can then be used in manufacturing of a wide range of products for example the surfacing of sports fields, playgrounds, horse arenas, carpet, underlay, garden furniture, acoustic barriers and mats.
